Well almost...

It’s league cup night. Not that anyone cares.

My first trip to Highbury was for a League Cup game, Arsenal vs Preston North End. I was 16 or 17 so wasn’t old enough to have plastic in my wallet yet so my mum had to ring up to book the tickets.

I bet the poor bloke she got on the phone still has a chuckle about this little exchange.

OK, for non footie fans. The Arsenal manager is called Arsene Wenger and a lot of big teams usually field a youthful team for the League Cup cos it’s a silly competition really.

So, My mum rang up for tickets. The guy explains to her that Arsene Wenger would probably not play his first team for this match.

To which my mother replied, “Who’s Arsene Wenger?”

“He’s the team manager, madam!”

Oh the shame!

Except it's Tuesday today so you'd have all laughed at me.

I’ve spent the day fiddling with Firefox and Thunderbird. Not quite got to grips with them yet but know I need to persevere. The 2 times I’ve loaded Maxthon (by accident) have always had to be terminated cos they froze. Grrrrr!

I quite like that you can have RSS feeds in with the email. It makes a lot of sense to me that, cos I try to leave my email open all day. But, I imported my feed list and it says they’re all invalid! So seems I have to do that manually. Yay!

Think I’ll try Opera later.

Anyway, I haven’t been on blog all day. I’ve been dusting and hovering.

Ok I wasn’t.. I pretended to though cos my lovely mother decided that I should do those things today.

But she’s really smart and noticed that I hadn’t.

Now I’m catching up on blogs and listening to Arsenal Kiddies vs West Brom and following Leicester vs Bastard and thinking about him in too much detail. Damnit!
