On Hold (part two)

So here I am again, back on hold with Pipex.
Read this first if you want. Last week’s crap service moan-blog.
Anyway, after I blogged that, I did hang up and call back, 45 minutes later, I was told I would be emailed my migration code thing within 3 days.
Of course I never got it.
So I’m demanding it now. Stupid company.
Except, (this made me laugh...) “We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and you may have to wait in excess of 12 minutes”
12 minutes? Wow. Such a short amount of time...
I’m so glad I’m leaving.
At least, I hope I am...
I'm coming up to the 12 minute mark now.
EDIT: OK, some silly girl just told me that their systems are down and they can't check my account and I should call back tomorrow!

No rain, but lots of sleep!

Despite the BBC's predictions of a constant downpour on my doorstep. I haven’t seen any rain, at all. Oh goody.
Maybe, as a result, my cold is beginning to leave me which is good too. Except, my cough has returned. Actually, that returned on Monday night and kept me awake til gone 4am (again!) Wondering if I’m allergic to something or it’s just a bitch cough that antibodies don’t like.
Dunno if that makes sense, I was crap at Biology.
To ensure I slept soundly last night, I prepared a concoction of.. stuff..
2 shots of liquor, followed by 2 paracetamol followed by a dose of cough syrup.
I was asleep within half an hour!
Anyway, I had to drag myself to the Jobcentre this morning. I haven’t seen any potential jobs this week which is annoying.

Now, shall I post the piccies.. HMMM... decisions decisions..
