  • I'm such an idiot

I was just installing a game that I thought I could play tomorrow during the torrential downpour that’s expected.

It’s the fifth Myst instalment if you care. Very brain taxing.

I need a good brain exercise. More so now.

As, upon completion of the install, I didn’t launch the game up like most people would.

    I uninstalled it..

  • Wet week ahead

    Over my roof, at least

  • Bless me

My first full day of cold.

Number of tissues saturated? : at least 100

Number of Paracetamol taken : 4!

Number of Beecham’s Flu Plus stuff had : NONE!

    Ooh dear. Why not?

Because my lovely mother absolutely LOVES to see me suffer.

    Ah!

“Don’t worry darling, I’ll get you some night nurse and other chemist stock during my lunch hour.”

    “Awww thanks”

But of course she forgot. She forgot that her favourite daughter is bunged up with snot and is dripping wet in sneeze juice.

The only thing keeping me going is that a: Colds don’t last that long and b: I will be all fit and healthy when everyone else gets their yearly snotfest.

    Haha

Yes, breathing in too much Vic makes me irritable.
(No, I don’t breathe it in every day) :P

I just have to make sure that I close my eyes when I take those deep sniffs. Cos it hurts if you don’t.

I’ll make an excellent drug addict...

  • The food chain

Here’s proof that one can be sceptical in a dream.

I was in a class of little children. We were playing this video game that demonstrated the food chain.

I started off controlling a mouse. It was quickly consumed by a cat.

So now I was controlling a cat.

I then had to dodge a scary looking dog, but managed to lose him. See? I always knew cats are more intelligent that dogs! ;)

Next challenge was in the form of a bird.

The cat managed to kill the bird. So, now I was in control of a bird?

    “Stupid game..” I thought.

The bird spied a rat and quickly gobbled him up.

Now, yes. I was a rat.

Guess what came to eat up the rat?

    A GIANT rat..

“This game sucks!” I whined “There’s no such thing as a giant rat!”

So, the teacher opened her cupboard to reveal that, in fact, giant rats do exist...

Surprisingly, I didn’t wake up screaming!
